Casey is deeply committed to promoting new short plays, as evidenced by his establishment of various play development initiatives involving both emerging and seasoned artists. One notable project he spearheaded was "PICplays: Perform Inform Change" in collaboration with Vici Nilson under the sponsorship of Actors Circle Ensemble in Orange, CA. These virtual productions coupled live storytelling with insightful presentations and engaging Q&A sessions featuring distinguished guest speakers in various fields, aiming to inform and inspire the audience. Casey took a hands-on approach by pairing talented artists from regions including Japan, the US, the UK, and Puerto Rico. The events covered a wide range of topics such as Unionism in America, Environmentalism, Education & Youth Empowerment, Discrimination, and Health Care. Building on this success, Casey embarked on a new venture in 2023, partnering with Yvonne Cone to establish JewFace sponsored by ShPIeL Performing Identity, operating from Kentucky and Chicago. JewFace focuses on cultivating subversive and controversial works within the Jewish community, further showcasing Casey's innovative spirit and commitment to artistic exploration.
